DRAFT — not yet reviewed. Not the final policy.
Privacy
Draft of 19 October 2026.
The short version
- Your videos (clips) never leave your phone. They are never uploaded, in any form.
- Arc Lab works fully without an account. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you sign in to use the social features.
- If you sign in, we store a copy of your shot numbers and session summaries so the friends you choose can see them.
What we store when you sign in
- Account: your Apple ID's private identifier or your email address, your @handle and display name.
- Your numbers: for each shared session, its start and end time and type; for each shot, the club, time, ball speed, launch angle, direction, estimated carry and apex, the confidence of the measurement, and the spin and drag values used. Your bag summary: average estimated carry, spread and shot count per club over 30 days.
- Where you hit: the place name you typed for a session, only if you turn on "Friends see where I hit".
- Social: your friends, friend requests, blocks, reports you make, "Nice" reactions, invite codes and referral rewards.
- Notifications: your device's push token, if you allow notifications.
Who sees it
Only friends you have accepted, and only the parts you share (bag, sessions, where you hit). People can find you by your exact @handle. Blocked people see nothing of yours.
Where it is kept
On Supabase servers in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit.
Deleting
Profile → Delete account removes your account and everything stored with it from our servers straight away. Your sessions stay on your phone. Turning off a sharing switch hides that data from friends at once.
